For fly fishing enthusiasts visiting Buenos Aires, we offer an unforgettable experience: chasing Golden Dorado just 30 minutes from the city centre.
Our excursions target Golden Dorado in the Río de la Plata and Paraná Delta rivers, working key structures such as screes, sandbanks, channels, wells and vegetation areas — where dorado actively hunt shad and other forage species.

The Golden Dorado is a native species of the Plata Basin and one of the most coveted gamefish in the world. Records show specimens exceeding 20 pounds in the Río de la Plata, though the average catch ranges between 4 and 6 pounds — with catches regularly exceeding 10 pounds.
They are targeted with streamers, rats and dry flies, using #6 equipment with float lines, 9-foot leaders and steel tippets to withstand their razor-sharp teeth.
A true apex predator, the Golden Dorado uses river structures — rocks, vegetation and current variations — to ambush prey in as little as 30 cm of water. Its explosive strike, acrobatic jumps and powerful runs make it unlike any other fly fishing experience on the planet.

Golden Dorado fly fishing is highly dependent on weather and river conditions. If conditions are not suitable on your scheduled day, we will reschedule or cancel the excursion at no cost to you — your trip is always protected.
No gear? No problem. If you don't have your own fly fishing equipment — rods, reels or flies — or are missing any item, we provide everything you need free of charge. Just show up ready to fish.
Yes! We'll send you a menu with options so you can choose what you'd like. Lunch on the water is part of the experience.
We can arrange a private door-to-door transfer from your hotel to the marina and back. Just let us know when you book.
